As you may be aware, the Domestic Violence Resource Center is a non-profit agency with very limited funds, but a very generous amount of community support. We provide advocacy, counseling and legal services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse and stalking in Bernalillo County. In 2010, DVRC served nearly 3,000 adult and child victims. Unfortunately the volume of domestic violence cases continues to increase with little signs of slowing which is why it is so imperative that we recieve all the support we can get to counteract this growing trend.
